Who we are

DesignVerdict is operated by Futurist IP [legal entity name and address — confirm before launch]. Contact for anything in this policy: arsen.k@futuristip.com.

What we collect, and why

  • Email address — when you download the annual report, join the mailing list, or create a saved search. We use it to deliver what you asked for: the report, notice of future editions, and alert digests for searches you saved. Legal basis: consent, which you can withdraw any time by unsubscribing or emailing us.
  • Saved-search criteria — the filters you choose to save, stored against your email so we can match new decisions to them.
  • Basic technical logs — standard web-server request logs (IP address, user agent, pages requested) kept for security and debugging. Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating the service.

No advertising trackers. No sale or rental of personal data, ever.

Public decision data — including named individuals

DesignVerdict analyses decisions published by the EUIPO. Those public documents name parties, representative firms, individual attorneys and Board of Appeal panel members; our analytics aggregate and display those names as they appear in the published record. We process this publicly available professional data on the basis of legitimate interest in legal-research and transparency analytics over public proceedings. If you are named in the published record and believe a datum is inaccurate relative to the source decision, email us and we will check it against the source and correct extraction errors.

Where your data lives

Subscriber emails and saved searches are stored in our application database. Transactional and digest email is delivered via our email service provider [provider — confirm at launch]. Hosting [provider/region — confirm at launch]. We keep mailing-list data until you unsubscribe and saved searches until you delete them or ask us to.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email arsen.k@futuristip.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU/EEA you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

Changes

We will update this page as the product evolves (for example when email digests ship) and change the date above. Material changes will be flagged to mailing-list subscribers.
